Jim Bowen RIP

We are sorry to hear of the recent passing of the entertainer Jim Bowen.
Jim was a good customer for many years who made sure, that whenever he changed his favourite cars, he would have a set lambswool rugs fitted.
One year he decided that the Easirider Christmas Outing should be to the recording the Bullseye Christmas Show at the Nottingham Studios of Central TV, so he sent complimentary tickets for the whole  team and their partners. We all had a fun evening watching him at work, it was however more than a little surreal being in a tv studio with fake snow and Christmas decorations in the middle of an unseasonably warm May when the recording was done.
Apart from his TV appearances with Bullseye, Phoenix Nights, Last of the Summer Wine amongst others, Jim was also a very funny and entertaining after dinner speaker who we had the pleasure of seeing on a couple of occasions.
He was always a pleasure to deal with and he always had time for a chat. A real Gentleman
